One out of every 10 Americans suffers from chronic headaches, and they spend over half a billion dollars every year for over-the-counter medications to relieve their pain. But sometimes, they can’t still get rid of headaches and you know why? It’s because there are instances that they are not thinking about getting to the root cause of the problem. Maybe their headaches are caused by stress and they need to learn stress management or maybe their headaches are cause by TMJ dysfunction. It‘s not easy for a person when he has TMJ or Temporomandibular joint dysfunction. TMJ dysfunction can lead to headaches and other body pains that start from the jaw to the neck and down all over the body. TMD is cause by Bruxism, an episode that happen at night and they call it night teeth grinding. Just when you are starting to doze off at night, Bruxism will start to take control and you will be annoyed by your involuntary teeth grinding. If a person with this predicament won’t do anything about it, it will lead to TMJ or a displacement of the jaw bone or the temporomandibular joints and it can lead to more serious problems.
